The Biblical Story
Matthew 23: 26-28
This story is the story of Jesus challenging the Pharisees about true righteousness. This is what he told them: “Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean. "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside is full of dead men's bones and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.”
The Spiritual Perspective
In Part 1, we spoke about how the spiritual body is the source of our sickness and misfortunes. However, we have not explained in-depth the process through which this spiritual body bring these sicknesses and misfortunes into our lives.
The Biblical Story
2 King 2: 19-22
The scripture spoke of the prophet Elisha, who had received a complaint from the inhabitants of a certain city. They said to him: "Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive."
Then Elisha instructed them to bring him a bowl with salt in it. But the bowl must be new, meaning never used before. Then he went out to the spring that supplied the town with water and threw the salt into it. And he said, "This is what the LORD says: I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or infertility." Then the Bible says that the water had remained whole till this day according to the words of Elisha.
The Spiritual Perspective
Your BODY is the city of God. Underneath your physical body abides your spiritual body. This spiritual body supplies life to the physical body. Everything in this spiritual body, also called astral body, has its symmetric representation in the physical body. Your BODY is really the combination of your spiritual body and your physical body. The inhabitants (cells) of the physical body have their symmetric corresponding part in the spiritual body (light-cells or ADN).
