How to overcome fear?
Fear comes from sight. You can only fear what you see. People are afraid of some specific animals, when they see them; and this is either because they have already seen that kind of animal hurt someone, or have heard stories about that particular animal.
For instance, most people believe that lions or snakes are dangerous animals to fear, but the majority of them have never even seen these animals.
Nevertheless, fear does not just come from what we see with our physical eyes or the stories we hear. Fear also comes from what our mind-eye sees in form of imagination.
So there are three types of sights that trigger fear:
- Fear based on a sight gained through an experience
- Fear based on a sight gained through stories
- Fear based on a sight gained through false judgment
How to have self-confidence?
By Alain Dagba
Self-confidence is personal power. Without personal power you can’t use your gifts and your talents. Without personal power, you can’t even pursue a dream or a vision. Without personal power, having a lot of knowledge is useless; because knowledge without application is useless.
Personal power is the fuel of will power and human spiritual, psychological, and social evolution. Self-confidence or personal power is needed in everything. It gives you the ability of self-motivation and the capacity to face challenges and overcome obstacles.
Those who have a higher degree of personal power succeed quickly in life and easily find solution to problems. Because they have enough personal power, they develop a better affinity with others, and function at the highest level of survival. They approach life with boldness and make their choices and decisions with accuracy, clarity, and absolute responsibility.
Invite Yourself To The Ultimate Question
Written by Alain Yaovi M. DagbaThe Ultimate question
The first invitation is the one we send to ourselves. Have you ever wondered about the reason you are here, I mean here on earth? Everyone has at least once. But if you have never done so, believe me; the time will surely come when you will. As matter of fact, you are doing it right now by reading about it.
Introduction of the Universal Letter for World-Peace
Written by Alain Yaovi M. DagbaJune 24, 2010. Today is the day I welcome the inspiration to write this letter to you. I do not want you to see this letter as addressed to a certain organization or a specific group of persons; because this will not be the right way to see it or to read it. I want you, the reader, to see this book as a letter addressed to you personally and read it in that mindset.
What Makes Life Work
Part 3
What is the aim of Life?
The minute you know the aim of Life, and decide to act according to this knowledge, you will experience beauty.
Remember what we said previously. What makes God enjoy his creation are: Harmony, order, and beauty. In reality, all three are attributes of Life or God. God is Life. Man being created in the image and the likeness of God, is therefore created in the image and the likeness of Life. A human being in his or her true nature is harmony, order, and beauty.
What Makes Life Work?
Part 2
What brings happiness?
What brings happiness is order in the human spirit. Now, before we can speak of order, we must define what happiness really is. Happiness is the experience you have of your true divine self. This true divine self is the image and the likeness of God. To experience your true self is to experience God in yourself. This experience of the Divine is true happiness. The ultimate question now is: How do you experience God within? The answer is: Order.
What Makes Life Work?
(Part 1)
What makes life work is the understanding you have of Life itself. Do you understand Life? This is the ultimate question.
What is Life? Life is a force, energy. You cannot see Life. However, you can feel it and experience it. The act of breathing itself is an experience of Life. You can also experience Life in the creation, when flowers blossom, when animals and humans give birth, when trees grow leaves and seeds become plants, and so on. So, there is no way to deny the existence of Life, because it is right before our eyes.
Ethics is the beauty of the soul. It manifests itself by the first sign of love which is morality. Morality is the breath of wisdom. He who practices moral values is not far from the Divine; for morality is the sign that this individual is awakened into the awareness that there is a universal ethics that honors the whole creation.
The beauty of our souls makes the beauty of our actions; for ethics is the essence of esthetics. Esthetics represents the form or the appearance. Beauty in appearance is an illusion that will soon fade away. But the beauty of an action inspired by ethics or the consciousness of moral rules is an eternal beauty; capable of transforming the whole planet into a kingdom of free, rational and enlightened human beings.
You are an important part of this creation. There is nothing you could do better than respecting others and their goods, honoring them with your forgiveness and tolerance, and serving them with your gifts and talents.
You are a beautiful soul if you have set as principles of living; moral values that help your society become better and livable. You are a beautiful soul if you can inspire others to do the same, by first applying these moral values to their own bodies, mind, and soul.
Ethics is also, knowing how to live in community; for the earth is our community. Taking care of mother earth, from which we receive life and give life, is also the task of beautiful souls. Every thought, word, feeling, and action that can destroy others or cause them to stumble is non-ethical. Therefore, be the best beautiful soul that you could be, so that everything that will emanate from you, could inspire us all to honor our universal planet which is our unique community.
True wealth is above all a state of consciousness. How you measure monetary values will determine your level of wealth-consciousness.
Consciousness is built through habitual experiences. And our environment contributes heavily to the kind of consciousness we develop towards money.
Yes, I am talking here about money as the visual manifestation of wealth. When you create in you the consciousness of something, the law of mind and its symmetric representation: the universal law of attraction will co-create it with you. They will diligently force you into a realm of creativity and opportunities in order for you to experience the tangible affect of what you are conscious of.
Supposed that you live in a very low-income area and everything you buy in store in your area is very cheap. Now, let’s say you married someone who lives in a very high-income-area and you moved in with the person. There, you notice that the same things you buy for cheap in your ex-area of living are sold here the price tripled.
You will notice two things. First, the people living in this wealthy area will be shopping comfortably with no stress at all concerning the price. Second, you will notice that your mind will be disturbed, you will be uncomfortable with the price, and you may even believe it’s a rip-off.
The truth of the matter is the wealthy people have developed through habitual experience a certain type of consciousness. Whatever your consciousness accepts, you will also accept and vice versa. You will be uncomfortable because you have developed another type of consciousness due to the environment you lived in before. You will notice that with time, you will become comfortable with the price as your consciousness will adjust to your new environment.
In the same way, if you take one of these wealthy people into your low-income area and you take them to shopping. They will behave weird. They may suspect the products not to be of good quality. They will be hesitant to buy anything. However, if they stay in that area for a long period of time, they will also adjust.
The truth is it will be very difficult for you to become wealthy in the low-income area unless you transcend the way you measure monetary values; for this will determine your level of wealth-consciousness.
When more of something is spent, more of it is required to be acquired. The amount of energy your body loses, the same amount, even sometimes more, the body will seek to gain back. So it is with wealth. Everything is energy. The more money you spend, the more money you want to attract. This desire to attract more will cause the law of mind to open up to your innate power of creativity.
The less money you spend the less of it you want to attract. When something is limited in consciousness, it is also limited in action. With this mentality of “I have enough”, your creativity will not be activated. You will be so comfortable with your routines; and will barely have any vision.
True wealth is above all a state of consciousness. How you measure monetary values will determine your level of wealth-consciousness. When you become comfortable with less, then your sense of creativity will be clogged and the universe is not going to open up opportunities for you to meet people who think about creating more. You will keep on attracting people who think just like you.
It is not an easy task to live among fishes then dream to fly like birds. It is not an easy task to live among those that are poor and dream of becoming rich. It takes a strong mindset and an understanding of spiritual truths to break through the environmental collective belief in poverty.
When you live among the wealthy, your consciousness will have no choice but to expand toward wealth. You will not be comfortable living with them in unfortunate condition. It is also not easy to live among the rich and live like a poor. It is not easy to live among the birds with the desire to swim.
If while living with the wealthy consciousnesses, you keep on going back to your low-income area to shop, because of a false belief in saving, you will then be trying to bring two incompatible consciousnesses together. It is like being a bird and wanting to swim among fishes.
To swim among fishes, you have to become like one of them or you will suffocate and die in water. You must go through a complete metamorphosis from being a bird to become fish. This is the law of reversed consciousness to create compatibility. Jesus will say “you cannot pour a new one into an old wineskin.” The only way this could be done without any trouble is through contentment. However, one must not confuse poverty with contentment; for both are not the same.
